New beginnings

Beswick Paper (founded in 1952) and Premier Paper unite, forming the Premier Paper Group.

Premier Reel Paper

We bought Reel Paper (now Premier Reel Paper), a narrow-format reels division that included our Castle Donington warehouse.

Packaging

The company introduced a packaging department, adding a new business element to both new and existing customer bases.

OVOL

Premier Paper was acquired in 2019 by OVOL Japan Pulp and Paper, making it a global leader in the paper industry.

Sign & Display

We introduced our Sign and Display division into the UK & Ireland.

Conversion facilities

Our Sign and Display conversion facilities were introduced, expanding our offering and providing a 360º service, all under one roof.

New expertise

We obtained Zulu Packaging (now Premier Laminates), providing flexible packaging and lamination films for direct food contact, carton producers and the commercial print industry.

WBC aquisition

Premier Paper expanded beyond traditional paper merchandising by procuring WBC, a long-established specialist packaging, gifting and retail display business.

New warehouse

Our new, purpose-built 45,000-square-foot warehouse opened, dedicated to Sign & Display and relocated its conversion facilities, enabling us to deliver a top-tier service, supported by a specialist fleet of 32 double-decker delivery vehicles.

GPMI

The Graphic & Paper Merchants in Ireland (GPMI) was acquired, adding branches in both Belfast and Dublin.

Sample room

We expanded and refitted our sample room.

Sarcina Packaging

WBC obtained Sarcina Packaging, adding a greater level of expertise to our bespoke proposition.
